新旅程开始 New Journey started

糊涂的我，差一点赶不上飞机，吸取的教训就是提早到一到两个小时到机场报道。迟到是第一次也是最后一次！好彩有小沄的陪伴，这旅程添加了多个伴。O(∩_∩)O

The starting of the journey was a rush! Lesson learned: report myself to the airport one or two hours earlier. I promised this is the 1^st and the last to be late. The Journey become more fun with accompany of Yun.

七月十号，是我和小沄开始了新的旅途的日子。这是我第一次自个儿离家到外国去，到一个陌生的地方。有点奇怪，充满的不是害怕而是兴奋感与期待。 期待这旅途会遇上怎样的人，期待自己能不能变得跟独立，变得更好。

10^th of July is the date where me and Yun started our new journey. This was the first time I went oversea by myself, a place full with stranger. The feeling was a bit strange, it’s not scary at all to meet a stranger but happy and looking forward to the people I will meet later. I was wondering who will I meet throughout the journey, wondering how will I be, will I being better and more independent?

第一次乘上四个小时的飞机，我原以为搭了很久，怎知听到别个交流志愿者要乘坐十六个小时之久，四个小时一瞬间不算什么了。

I thought four hours flight is long but when I heard other exchange participants (eps) need to sit for more than 16 hours, four hours was nothing.

所有外国人到达以后都须填写外国人入境卡。过关卡的时候呢，也需要过行李箱安检。接下来的步骤就是过中国边检。

Every foreigner need to fill in the foreigner arrival card. Before going through the custom, we are required to luggage check-up too.

第一次在机场被人家接机是满怀期待的，超级兴奋的说~

It was really fun to have the first time having people waiting at the arrival. 

AIESEC交流志愿者的过程 The progress of joining AIESEC volunteering project

如果是通过大学社团AIESEC 组织参与交流志愿者，首先就是必须通过该校AIESEC的团员们的面试。 面试所采用的语言主要是英语。 所以面试者们全场必须以英语来回答问题。 当然， 每一个面试的开始都是请对方简单的自我介绍。 面试过程其实是蛮轻松的聊天。面试官会发问一些问题来测试面试者们是否清楚明白，或者适不适合他们的要求。 大多是关于面试者的意愿，对活动的认知以及了解。通常面试后，面试官们会进行一些讨论后会跟面试者发表一些他们对面试者的想法还有建议。

If you are joining the volunteering program through AIESEC, the first step is pass through the interview organized by AIESEC member. The main language that used is English, therefore, every interviewer need to use English to answer all the question. The interview session is actually quite relax, just like a chit-chat session with friends. Most of the question is to understand volunteer’s point of view and their purposes as well as their ability. At the end of the interview session, interviewer will give some advises or point of view towards the volunteer.

面试结果会通过邮信或当天就可得知是否通过。通过后需付Rm400 （付款根据各大学的要求）, 次付费是付给系统之类的吧。 通过面试后，每一位参赛者都会被分配到以为AIESEC 负责人，他/她会一路陪伴整个旅程。通过面试后，需在一个月内找寻适当的活动然后申请面试。有些面试需过两次，有些一次就可以了。 面试者可以对面试官提出一些不明白的地方/问题。

About the result, might be informed face to face or through mail after one or two day. After the interview, participants are required to pay RM 400 (according to own universities) for system usage purposes. Every participants will be given or take care by an AIESEC member (also named Exchange Participants Manager). EPM will help the participants to look for the project. Participants need to find a suitable project within one month and pass through another interview. Interviewee can ask any question towards the interviewer.

我所申请的‘幸福微梦想’只需通过一次面试。面试通过后，为了进一步的沟通，我们都是用微信与主办单位和寄宿家庭联络，保持联系。

The project I applied named Dare to Dream only need once interview session. For more convenience, we use WeChat to communicate with the organizer chairman and host family.

建议：要清楚了解活动的内容，开始与结束的日子，大概要做的事情

Suggestion: clearly understand about the content of the project and the starting and the end of the project accepted.

对自己要有信心，勇敢踏出第一步！

You will gain more then what you have expected when you are not expecting too much 

小时候的我只能够通过书本，电视节目， 还有很多的听说，听说，和听说。 说实在的， 我从来没想过自己可以只身到一个完全陌生的地方——中国。当初来到深圳的第二天，在住宿家庭起床的那一刻，我甚至不敢相信自己已经到中国了。不过，这次应该不算完全只身吧，因为还有一位跟我一样国籍，漂亮的志愿者，小沄。有了小沄的陪伴， 不会那么的孤单也比较放心。 当然，这可不是训练自己变得依赖的理由而是互相帮忙，互相的成长。

When I was a kid, I only know China through books, television show and heard the stories from other people. I never expected that I could come to China by myself one day. It's just like a dream. This journey is getting fun with another friend from Malaysia too who named Xiao Yun. Of course, it's not the reason to let myself become dependent but to help each other to grow up and learn something through out this journey.

我从来没想过自己是如此的有勇气实现了想要到处旅游的梦想。 想当初才刚进大一的时候， 懵懵懂懂的我和朋友们，在经过摆在学校走廊介绍各社团时，AIESEC的团员们很积极的跟我们分享关于AIESEC交流志愿者的活动，还邀约我们去听其他参与过的参赛者们的分享会。 听完分享会再加上朋友们的怂恿之下， 我提起了勇气去面试。 第一次的面试顺利的通过了，可是，缺乏信心的我却把机会从手中溜走了。遗憾就这样栓在我的脑海里。 每当AIESEC召开面试和分享会都会让我产生无数的幻想，以我的能力，我能不能够胜任，能不能帮助到需要帮助的人， 能不能比现在更独立。无数的能不能一直出现在我的脑海里没有停休过。

I never think that I have the courage to fulfill my dream to go travelling oversea. Still remember the time when I in the freshman year, I have met some of the AIESEC member that so excited to introduce my friends and I to join the exchange program. The first try is joining their sharing program. After the sharing, I had decided to go for the 1st interview. However, I have let go the 1st chances I got because lack of confidence. The regret feeling is so strong and always struggling in my mind. 



终于， 在大二的第二学期， 又鼓起了勇气去参加面试。这一次的面试当然有通过，要不然就不会有现在‘过去式的日记’跟大家分享。每一位参与者当确认会参与这项活动时会被要求发送一张‘I’m going’（我即将去）的字眼拍张照。

At last, I went to another interview again when I was in Year 2. The interview have passed, if not, there will not be any diaries exist in this blog. After the participants have decided to go, we are 
required to take a photo which marked the words 'I'm going' as a encouragement for others to join. =)

‘出来走一趟，胜读万卷书’

这句话说的真的很贴切。这次出走的地方是深圳， 中国。

这次来到深圳，是通过大学社团 AIESEC交换志愿者活动——幸福微梦想。

幸福微梦想是由深圳大学的AIESEC举办的。 在这个活动中， 除了我和小沄两个马来西亚人， 还有来自阿尔及利亚人的Hichem，瑞士的Alexandre，尔罗斯的Victoria，越南的Phuong还有土耳其的Cihan参与其中。 我们的任务是在两个地区举办夏日营教导当地小朋友们一些简单的英语还有玩乐。 所以，在接下来的文章中，大多是和这次在深圳之旅和我所参与的夏令营有关， 欢迎大家观赏。 有兴趣也可留言。

This time I traveled to Shen Zhen, China through one of the school organization, AIESEC exchange program. The program named Dare to Dream. It's organized by AIESEC @ Shen Zhen University (SZU). In this program, beside me and Shi Yun, exchange participant from Malaysia, there are also exchange participants from Algeria (Hichem), Switzerland (Alexandre), Russia (Victoria), Vietnam (Phuong) and Turkey (Cihan). Our task is to carry out two summer camp for the children in China. We were asked to teach the children some basic daily English. Therefore, on the following article or passage, I will be sharing about the life that I experience in Shen Zhen and the summer camp. Everyone is welcome to read/ view my blog and leave some comments if you are interested.
